An Activity on Zuru is for experiences that run at set times within a single day, such as guided tours, classes, boat trips, and adventure experiences. Once you create an Activity and go live, customers can see real-time availability and book directly on the Zuru Marketplace or your Operator Page.
Steps
1. Go to your Experiences dashboard
Log in to your operator account at operator.tryzuru.com and navigate to your Experiences dashboard.
2. Create a new experience and select Activity
Click to create a new experience. When prompted to choose a type, select Activity.
3. Add your experience details
Fill in the name, description, photos, location, and duration. Write your description the way a customer would search for it. Clear, specific descriptions help your experience show up in search on the marketplace and on Google.
4. Set your pricing
Add your pricing per person. If you have different rates for different guest types, such as adults and children, you can set separate pricing categories for each.
5. Set up your time slots
Add the time slots when your Activity runs. You can set up recurring slots across multiple days or weeks so you are not manually adding each departure one by one. If your Activity runs at 9am and 2pm every day, you set that schedule once and Zuru handles the rest.
6. Set your capacity
For each time slot, set the maximum number of guests you can take. Zuru tracks bookings against this number in real time, so once a slot is full it automatically shows as unavailable to new customers.
7. Add your meeting point
Include the meeting point with directions so customers know exactly where to show up. This appears on the booking page and in the confirmation customers receive after booking.
8. Publish your Activity
Once everything looks good, publish your Activity. If your Peach Payments account is already connected, it will go live on the Zuru Marketplace and your Operator Page straight away.
