This guide walks you through how to find an experience and complete your booking on the Zuru Marketplace. The whole process takes just a few minutes and your booking is confirmed instantly once payment goes through.

Booking an experience

Before You Start

You do not need a Zuru account to browse or book. All you need is the payment method you plan to use and the details of the people joining the experience.

Steps

1. Go to the marketplace

Open marketplace.tryzuru.com in your browser. You will see a list of available experiences from operators across South Africa and Kenya.

2. Find an experience

Use the search bar to look for something specific, or browse by category and location. Each experience card shows the price per person, duration, and location so you can get a quick sense of what is on offer before clicking in.

3. Open the experience

Click on an experience to see the full details. This page shows you photos, a description of what to expect, what is included, the meeting point with directions, and any useful information like the fitness level required or accessibility notes.

4. Pick a date

Use the availability calendar to choose your date. Dates that are open for booking are clearly marked. If a date is greyed out, it means that time slot is full or unavailable.

5. Select your guests

Choose how many people are joining. Some experiences have different pricing categories, for example adults and children, so make sure you select the right combination for your group.

6. Review your order

Before you pay, you will see a summary of your booking including the experience name, date, number of guests, and total amount. Take a moment to check everything looks right.

7. Enter your details and pay

Fill in your contact details and choose your payment method. The Zuru Marketplace accepts credit and debit cards, bank transfer (EFT), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, and buy now, pay later options. Payments are processed securely through Peach Payments.

If you are booking in a currency other than ZAR, the marketplace supports USD, GBP, and EUR so you can pay in the currency that works for you.

8. Get your confirmation

Once payment goes through, your booking is confirmed right away. You will receive a confirmation with all the details of your experience.

Having Trouble Paying?

If your payment does not go through, check that your card details are correct and that your bank has not blocked the transaction. Some banks flag online payments the first time, so a quick call to your bank usually sorts it out.
